«Ne t’endors pas» est un dispositif qui se met en mouvement dès le passage d’une personne.
La sculpture en tissu qui constitue la partie haute est bercée par ce mouvement.
Injonction paradoxale, le titre incite aussi à conserver sa vigilance : «Ne t’endors pas».
Le mouvement est ici chaotique, saccadé et allie une sorte de claudication au bercement.
La forme organique affiche tout autant ses cicatrices que sa transparence et son insoutenable légèreté.
«Don’t fall asleep» is a device that starts moving as soon as a person passes by.
The fabric sculpture which constitutes the upper part is rocked by this movement.
Paradoxical injunction : the title encourages us to remain vigilant: «Don’t fall asleep».
The movement here is chaotic, jerky and combines a sort of limp with rocking.
The organic form reveals its scars, its transparency and its unbearable lightness.
